The role combines direct client engagement with leveraging technology to create innovative, high-conviction investment content across internal and external channels.

As an Investment Strategist in the LatAm & GFG Investment Strategy team, you will be a compelling communicator in both English and Spanish and/or Portuguese, with broad expertise across global macro and multi-asset investing. They will be expected to represent the Private Bank's views with authority and clarity in client meetings, events, and media, while also driving key content initiatives that scale the team's impact across the region.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior voice on the LatAm & GFG Investment Strategy team, delivering the firm's macro and multi-asset views to clients and prospects through one-on-one meetings, roadshows, and large-scale events across the region.
  • Produce high-quality written content for both internal and external audiences — including recurring publications, thematic pieces, and market commentary — that translates the team's strongest convictions into clear, actionable insights.
  • Own and drive select content initiatives end-to-end (e.g., a flagship regional outlook, new content series, commercial initiatives), taking responsibility for narrative development, production cadence, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Engage with local media as a representative of the Private Bank's investment views, enhancing the firm's external profile and mindshare with clients and prospects.
  • Stress-test and enhance the firm’s investment thinking through direct client interaction, feeding insights back to sharpen research and positioning.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Investment Strategy, portfolio and product specialists, asset class teams, and client-facing Investment and Advice teams to ensure alignment of views and relevance of messaging to the region’s broader strategy.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in financial markets, ideally as a macro/multi-asset strategist, economist, or senior research analyst on the buy-side or sell-side.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex macro and cross-asset themes into compelling, client-ready narratives.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese (written and verbal), with media experience a plus.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and the ability to form and articulate independent views on markets and economies.
  • Demonstrated experience with portfolio construction concepts and the ability to connect macro views to actionable investment solutions.
  • Ability to independently investigate and produce original analysis on key macro and investment themes.
  • Proficiency with market data and research tools (Bloomberg, FactSet, Haver, etc.) and Microsoft Office. Direct experience in exploring the latest tools in investment technology and AI is a plus.
