Job Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and expense management
- Partner with senior leadership to guide business decisions and performance management
- Drive prioritization and execution of technology initiatives across the business
- Oversee governance frameworks, ensuring strong controls, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, legal, and audit teams to manage business risks
- Manage day-to-day operations, including issue resolution and escalation
- Lead efforts to improve processes and remediate control or operational gaps
- Oversee vendor relationships and ensure effective external partnerships
- Establish and run governance and oversight forums across business functions
- Identify and manage impacts of regulatory changes on the business
- Lead strategic projects to enhance capabilities, efficiency, and innovation
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- 10 years of experience in financial services, strategy, or business management
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis
- Strong project management and strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to interpret and present complex data clearly
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing risk, controls, or governance frameworks
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Experience supporting investment or asset management businesses
- Professional certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst or Certified Public Accountant
- Experience leading global teams or functions
- Familiarity with technology-enabled business transformation initiatives
- Experience managing regulatory or compliance-driven projects
- Strong background in operational process improvement
- Advanced degree in business, finance, or a related field
