The J.P. Morgan Private Bank sits within Global Wealth Management, a division of Asset & Wealth Management, and is focused on working with ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, families, and foundations. The Private Bank offers comprehensive financial and wealth solutions that integrate sophisticated investment management, wealth advisory, capital markets, and trust and banking capabilities.
As the Head of LATAM Marketing within the Private Bank, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a LATAM-wide marketing strategy that supports and amplifies the business’s growth plans, while cultivating a strong team focus and inclusive culture. You will focus on acquiring clients both regionally and in specific markets and defined verticals, as well as deepening relationships with existing clients, including supporting the business’s day-to-day investment marketing needs. You will play an integral role in the business, will be a member of the International Private Bank Marketing Management team, and will sit on the broader LATAM leadership team.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic direction of the LATAM Marketing team to achieve business growth, operational excellence, and talent acquisition and retention, in partnership with regional and global business partners.
- Build and lead the LATAM Marketing team, fostering a collaborative culture and strong connectivity with the international and global marketing organization.
- Formulate holistic marketing strategies to raise brand awareness, acquire new clients, and deepen relationships with existing clients, based on a deep understanding of regional priorities (business objectives, segmentation, and priority markets and verticals).
- Partner with practice and solutions leaders to deliver practical tools that drive credit and investment flows.
- Lead the dialogue on content segmentation, personas, and personalization experiences.
- Apply AI to improve operational efficiency and drive strategic innovation.
- Develop local marketing strategies, ensuring a tailored market-by-market approach with local business objectives, local language, cultural nuance, and audience segmentation at the core.
- Drive new lead generation and client acquisition/conversion through marketing strategies including paid media, partnerships, and content.
- Define, measure, and evaluate KPIs across initiatives (as relevant), including brand awareness, new leads generated, gross new clients, increases in product penetration, investment flows, and share of wallet. Liaise with regional and global counterparts to share best practices and implement global solutions across the region.
- Work closely and cross-functionally with market managers and business partners in the region and globally.
- Partner with other regional heads on IPB-led initiatives.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Marketing professional, strategic thinker, and well-rounded marketer with a strong understanding of the LATAM competitive landscape; ability to inspire, challenge, and influence.
- 10+ years of experience and strong business acumen to create country-level marketing strategies, quickly establish priorities, and clearly communicate expectations.
- Strong focus on digital marketing, with a data-first approach to digital tools, applications, and maturity models.
- Strong team leadership skills to foster a positive culture and grow the team in line with the strategic growth of the business in the region.
