The JPM Private Bank Digital Team is seeking a Product Manager to help drive the Private Bank’s client and advisor experiences. As part of our ambition to build an industry-leading digital experience for Funds, this role will lead an exciting initiative to serve private equity and venture capital clients who distribute securities rather than cash. Central to delivering this experience is expanding and automating our distribution in-kind capabilities. The lead will partner closely with advisors, sales leadership, Service, analytics, design, technology and AI teams to facilitate a new offering.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Execution

  • Lead the product strategy and roadmap for client and advisor digital experiences for distribution in-kind and payments—from the collection of instructions to the processing and playback of transactions.
  • Translate advisor, banker, and leadership needs into clear product requirements, user stories, workflows, and success criteria.
  • Partner with design, technology, analytics, and AI teams to deliver digital tools that expand our distribution in-kind capabilities for a key client group.
  • Manage product backlog prioritization in partnership with senior product leads and business stakeholders.
  • Drive execution across discovery, requirements, testing, launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
  • Gather advisor feedback on AI-powered tools to ensure recommendations are practical, explainable, and aligned to real-world workflows.
  • Monitor adoption and effectiveness of AI-enabled features and recommend enhancements based on data and user feedback.

Advisor & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a voice of the client and the advisor within the Digital Team, bringing practical insight from the field into product decisions.
  • Conduct user interviews, feedback sessions, journey mapping, and workflow reviews with advisors, bankers, managers, and support teams.
  • Build strong relationships with Private Bank stakeholders to understand business priorities and ensure digital solutions align with advisor needs.
  • Support training, communications, and adoption efforts for new or enhanced lead, prospect, and AI-enabled tools.

Data, Measurement & Optimization

  • Define KPIs for distribution in-kind initiatives, including efficiencies, revenue, and assets retained.
  • Partner with analytics and reporting teams to monitor product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Use data and user feedback to recommend enhancements, prioritize features, and improve business outcomes.
  • Help create consistent measurement frameworks for prospect pipeline management across teams and regions.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, financial services, wealth management, banking, payments and securities transfers, digital transformation, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of client and advisor experiences around payments and distributions.
  • Demonstrated interest in AI, data-driven decisioning, automation, or digital productivity tools.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements and partner effectively with design, technology, analytics, data science, and business teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort using data to assess performance, identify trends, and make product recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in client engagement or as a client advisor, banker, service team or digital product.
  • Experience supporting high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth client segments.
  • Experience working in Agile product development environments.
  • Interest in emerging AI capabilities and how they can be responsibly applied to improve advisor workflows.
  • Understanding of digital adoption, change management, and field enablement within a large financial institution.

Success Measures

This person will be successful if they help the organization:

  • Create an engaging client digital experience and a transparent advisor digital experience.
  • Facilitate securities distributions for a key client segment.
  • Automate end-to-end processing of distributions in-kind.
  • Help retain client assets by introducing new digital capabilities.
  • Reduce manual effort and fragmented processes across banking teams.
  • Identify practical AI use cases that improve advisor productivity and prospect engagement.
  • Bring authentic advisor perspective into product design and prioritization.
