Who You Are
As a Senior Operations Associate on this team, you will actively contribute to managing our relationship with carriers and play a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of data. Your ability to communicate with the team proactively and to be solution-oriented will be invaluable in this role. You will actively engage in collaborative problem-solving, working closely with senior Operations colleagues, as well as members of the tech and business teams. Together, you will identify opportunities for us to invest in improving efficiency and streamlining our processes.

As part of the Benefits Platform Operations team, you will have a number of different paths available to you for growth, assuming you meet/exceed expectations.
The Benefits Platform Team is a new investment at Justworks, and operates as an autonomous and tight knit cross-functional unit. The team is responsible for accelerating the growth of the core business by building and running a new, hyper-flexible benefits platform that will serve as the launch pad for multiple new products, services, and partnerships over the next 5 years.
Your Success Profile
What You Will Work On
Perform day-to-day operations for our small group health insurance offering
Work with insurance carriers to resolve escalated issues - enrollment errors, plan coding issues, and other discrepancies highlighting said issues to ProdEng if recurring in nature
Collect plan and pricing data from carriers, and work within the carriers' systems to enroll groups and individuals
Identify and remediate problems by developing and updating standard operating procedures
Support system implementation of new benefits and report changes in systems/procedures across teams
Execute regular filing and/or any additional regulatory duties
Adhere to vendor and internal partner SLAs
Triage incoming issues/inquiries to identify the need for additional intervention and escalate accordingly
Work closely and collaboratively with senior team members to develop strategies to drive operational efficiencies

Minimum 2 years experience in an Operations role required
Knowledge of Employer-Sponsored Benefit Plans is a plus
Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
Process-driven and able to break down complex concepts into core details
Experience working cross-functionally
Extremely detailed-oriented with great time management skills
Excel experience or equivalent required
Strong analytical and data management skills
Strong project management and execution skills
Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar software
You enjoy working with people and helping others solve problems
The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $66,500.00 to $73,150.00 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
