Who You Are

Justworks seeks a consumer insights professional to help grow our Strategy and Insights team. You’re creative, solution-oriented, adept at collaborating cross-functionally and with leadership stakeholders, and excel at turning data into decisions.

In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in helping Justworks make some of its most impactful, long-term decisions. You’ll be responsible for leading and executing research initiatives and contributing to an increasingly customer-focused business strategy for the company.

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

  • Lead customer research initiatives independently, identifying appropriate stakeholders, defining project scope, and managing the research process through design, field, analysis, reporting and narrative building, communication, and implementation
  • Partner directly with leadership, strategy, product, and marketing stakeholders to guide decision-making, assisting them in incorporating your findings into strategic decisions
  • Facilitate surveys, in-depth interviews, market analyses, and other research with Justworks customers, prospective customers, and other stakeholders
  • Build, manage, and execute research with the Justworks customer panel
  • Share research findings and ensure implementation of work, using advanced storytelling and presentation expertise, as well as interactive workshops and other creative communication methods

As a Senior Researcher, Consumer Insights, how results are achieved is paramount for your success and ultimately results in our success as an organization. In this role, your foundational knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal attributes are anchored in the following:

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to execute significant customer research projects from end to end, likely grounded in 5+ years of experience in customer insights, market research, or other research role
  • Highly skilled at stakeholder management and leading cross-functional projects; able to confidently and independently work with executive stakeholders (prior in-house experience strongly preferred)
  • Experience in a range of research methods, in particular quantitative research methods
  • Comfortable turning amorphous business and product challenges into specific questions research can answer
  • Excellent oral, written, and visual communicator, with the ability to focus research storytelling on the data’s potential impact and to guide stakeholders in their decision-making process

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $155,000.00 to $170,000.00 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
