Who You Are

You are a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Manager excited to join our growing Demand Generation team. This pivotal role is critical to developing, implementing, and scaling a targeted ABM program from the ground up. You'll be instrumental in forging tighter alignment between marketing and sales, building coordinated, surgical plays, and driving significant pipeline impact by deepening engagement within key accounts. This role requires a seasoned professional capable of navigating complex GTM challenges and influencing organizational change through a mix of strategic leadership and hands-on execution.

What You’ll Do:

  • ABM Strategy & Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop the end-to-end ABM strategy, identifying target accounts in partnership with Sales leadership and defining account-specific marketing plays and campaigns. You'll be a key voice in developing and evolving our ABM approach, adapting it to our unique business needs and market dynamics.
  • Integrated Program Leadership & Execution: Lead the full lifecycle execution of ABM campaigns. You will act as the program manager, responsible for ensuring campaigns launch on time and addressing any risks to execution. You'll partner with our channel owners (e.g., Paid Media, Email) to get campaigns in market and will directly own key ABM channels, including direct mail and gifting.
  • Partnership with Campaign Managers: Work directly with our campaign managers to integrate ABM efforts into their broader programs, ensuring a cohesive and multi-touch journey for our target accounts.
  • Strategic Sales & GTM Alignment: Collaborate closely with Sales and SDR teams to ensure tight alignment on target accounts, messaging, and follow-up strategies. You will play a key role in influencing processes to resolve existing lead and account ownership conflicts, ensuring marketing efforts seamlessly warm up accounts for sales outreach.
  • Content & Creative Coordination: Partner with Content Marketing and Product Marketing to develop personalized and relevant assets tailored to target accounts and key personas.
  • Performance Ownership & Optimization: Establish clear ABM KPIs, track performance, and provide regular, in-depth reporting on account engagement, pipeline influence, and ROI. You will leverage data to optimize campaigns and refine ABM processes, continually driving improvements and informing future strategies.
  • Technology & Tools: Utilize and optimize ABM platforms and tools (e.g., intent data platforms, account engagement platforms) to enhance targeting, personalization, and measurement capabilities.
  • Process & Workflow Enhancement: Identify opportunities to refine and optimize ABM processes and cross-functional workflows, particularly in light of evolving attribution models and internal GTM dynamics.

Qualifications

  • Experienced: 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3 years directly in an Account-Based Marketing role, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth environment. Proven ability to develop and execute data-driven ABM strategies from conception to scale.
  • Influential Collaborator: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus across Sales, Marketing, and Product teams. You can effectively drive organizational change related to GTM alignment.
  • Problem Solver: A strong track record of managing complex projects and solving intricate GTM challenges, including lead/account ownership and attribution complexities. You thrive on improving processes and establishing new, efficient workflows.
  • Analytical & Data-Driven Leader: Proficient in marketing analytics and reporting, with extensive experience using CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau). You have a firm grasp of attribution models and can translate complex data into actionable strategic insights.
  • Results-Oriented: A strong track record of driving measurable pipeline and revenue growth through ABM initiatives.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including leadership.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience in the HR tech, payroll, or PEO industry.
  • A passion for small businesses and the desire to make a significant impact on their success.
  • Proven experience leveraging platforms like Demandbase or 6Sense (for ABM), Clay (for hyper-personalization), Hockeystack (for multi-touch attribution), and Hightouch (for data sync and segmentation building) to drive measurable ABM results.

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $155,500.00 - $171,050.00 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
