Who You Are

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you are an integral part of Justworks’ long-term growth and success. You own the full cycle of recruiting from sourcing to hiring, inclusive of learning the ins and outs of the organization. You have a solid understanding of industry best practices but also seek to innovate and experiment with your approach.

As a senior member of the Talent Acquisition team, you embody our team mission: Empowering Potential, Elevating Excellence. You will demonstrate this by partnering closely with Technology leaders, as well as many of our cross-functional partners. You will build solid pipelines of candidates and closing candidates to meet company goals while maintaining the high standards and value-driven culture we've built to date. While your focus may evolve based on business priorities and hiring needs, this role will primarily support our Product and Design organizations. We are looking for a senior talent acquisition partner who will collaborate closely with senior Technology and Product leadership and become embedded within their teams to develop a deep understanding of their technical domains, ways of working, and team culture.

What You Will Work On

Recruiting Life Cycle

  • Own full life-cycle recruiting with accountability for embedding inclusive and equitable practices at every stage of the hiring process
  • Lead complex offer negotiation in an effective and timely manner, balancing candidate experience with internal equity and budget alignment
  • Identify/clarify hiring needs and core competencies, use historical hiring data, and external market insights to build a data-driven Recruiting strategy
  • Proactively source and screen to build and maintain a robust talent pipeline
  • Use your subject matter expertise to offer out of the box solutions to talent strategies
  • Build/maintain, execute, and own social media strategy includes, but is not limited to promoting open roles, highlighting teams, products, etc. inclusive of a DEIB lens, in partnership with your Hiring Leader(s)
  • Build and sustain strategic external partnerships, industry networks, and community relationships
  • Keep up to date with new recruiting methods, industry, and market trends; assist in developing a consistent and sustainable recruiting strategy inclusive of a DEIB lens
  • Partner with hiring leaders to design structured, candidate experience-focused interview plans that align to business needs and competency requirements
  • Serve as a talent advocate, ensuring rigorous and equitable assessment while enabling hiring teams to make strong, objective decisions

Business Acumen & Strategic Impact

  • Develop a deep understanding of your dedicated business functions, including operating model, financial drivers, product roadmap, and growth strategy; identify opportunities to further your business acumen and share key insights with the broader TA team
  • Partner with senior leaders to translate business needs into scalable solutions/executable action plans and align hiring plans to business objectives
  • Anticipate workforce needs based on business expansion, product evolution, and organizational design shifts
  • Host quarterly pulse check and data review with key stakeholders to assess hiring performance, pipeline health, and capacity planning, and ensure alignment, consistency, and accountability
  • Create and maintain customized recruiting playbooks that align talent strategy to department goals and long-term capability building
  • Provide consultative guidance using hiring data, industry benchmarks, and market trends to develop creative solutions for hiring managers and influence decision-making
  • Identify talent-related risks and propose scalable solutions that balance speed, quality, and cost
  • Partner proactively on headcount planning to ensure alignment between hiring timelines, business impact, and resource allocation

Relationship Management

  • Build trusted partnerships with Business Leaders and People Business Partners to understand business priorities and anticipate hiring challenges/needs
  • Coach and guide hiring managers through each step of the hiring process ensuring structured, equitable, and effective hiring practices
  • Facilitate strategic intake sessions, calibration conversations, and ongoing hiring reviews
  • Work cross-functionally to develop strong relationships with hiring managers through strategy meetings, status updates, and constant communication
  • Collaborate with program partners and assist with Recruiting-driven events, conferences, etc.
  • Mentor and support recruiters at all levels, sharing best practices on strategy, influence, stakeholder management, etc.
  • Manage current vendors and identify opportunities to expand and optimize vendor partnerships

Data and Innovation

  • Leverage analytics and AI driven workflows to optimize recruiting efficiency and effectiveness
  • Use data and insights to drive strong TA voice, develop innovative systems to drive hiring goals, and create recruiting/sourcing strategies to align with short term and long-term business goals
  • Maintain strong data integrity within the applicant tracking system to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that increase scalability and elevate candidate experience

Project Management

  • Lead or contribute to initiatives related to talent attraction/hiring, recruiting strategy, process improvement, content, training, TA culture, and more!
  • Design and lead training opportunities that elevate recruiting capability across the organization
  • Champion continuous improvement within the Talent Acquisition function

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years experience working in a high-volume recruiting environment in-house and/or agency preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and tailor support across multiple hiring managers, specifically experience supporting Product teams.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and natural ability to establish trust and credibility
  • Resourceful and able to proactively anticipate needs and provide solutions
  • Self-starter, comfortable with a rapidly changing office environment
  • Interested in entrepreneurial environments and want to help build something meaningful

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $140,000-$163,350.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
