Team Overview

The Services team works closely together to set PowerSchool customers up for ongoing success through post-implementation support, troubleshooting, consultation on system setup options, and training on features and functionality. The team offers cross-portfolio support, all while meeting organizational objectives for revenue, utilization, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Description

The Consulting Services team provides leadership for the implementation and deployment of PowerSchool systems software. This role has the overall responsibility for delivering and supporting the implementation of multiple projects of varying scope and size to school districts. This customer-facing position manages various functions in delivery of software and service solutions to ensure accurate and timely completion with high customer satisfaction.

Your day-to-day role will consist of:

  • Completing implementation and training projects on time, within scope and meeting customers’ expectations
  • Develop knowledge and maintain continual understanding of BusinessPlus and other applications
  • Conduct effective customer-facing training sessions
  • Determine client needs and make appropriate recommendations for specific projects
  • Communicate project status both internally and to customers
  • Work with internal teams to build better practices, adhering to industry best practices
  • Daily/weekly follow-up reports to customer, Project Manager, and Manager

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-3 years’ project management or project coordinator experience
  • Experience working in K-12 large-scale, district technology implementations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and use of working with data sets, reports and charts and budget information. Ability to do VLOOKUP’s and utilize Excel functions
  • Working knowledge of MS Project or SmartSheet
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills: written, verbal, and ability to quickly build and maintain rapport with others
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and adapt to continual change in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be proactive, action-oriented, and motivating
  • Ability to drive consensus, facilitate solutions, and build options/alternatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing reports using Crystal, Cognos, or similar reporting tool a plus
  • Ability to become expert in at least one of PowerSchool’s current software solutions preferred
  • ERP Specific: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Computer Science, or Business
  • ERP Specific: Familiarity with accounting, payroll, or business practices, including an understanding of relational databases, and experience with SQL
  • PMP and/or CSM certification, is a plus

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $77,300 - $99,400 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
