The Role

The Lead, SOX IT Controls, will support activities and compliance for areas within the Kyndryl SOX IT compliance program. The role will work across various applications, both on-premise and cloud hosted, to drive the execution of SOX IT controls. The role will work with a control family leader to provide consistent reporting on control status, risk areas, direction remediation efforts and support internal and external audits. Ideal candidate will have experience as a SOX auditor, IT risk consultant, or IT compliance in a Fortune 250 organization. Experience with Big 4 accounting firms and the SAP applications (S/4HANA including associated applications, Ariba, Fieldglass) will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and executing activities related to SOX IT controls including risk identification, compliance monitoring and audit support.

  • Apply knowledge of general IT control (GITC) purpose, function, best practice design and compliance strategies.

  • Work with IT Controls leader to assist in assessing, designing, and implementing new IT risk and SOX controls.

  • Support in drafting comprehensive executive summaries, final reports, and provide VP level reporting related to areas of responsibility

  • Assist in coordination of consistent performance across an application and control portfolio

  • Support in performing quality assurance of SOX IT controls.

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline

  • Experience working as an internal or external IT auditor or IT risk adviser for a public accounting firm, a professional services firm, or within industry

  • Experience with at least one or more of the following types of work: a) internal, external audit/compliance risk assessments; b) financial statement audits/SOX/internal controls; c) SOC reporting, CUEC; d) IT General controls (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Workday) testing at application, infrastructure layers including testing of the system configuration, key reports (IPE); data interface; Access Management; Change Management; Operations; Program Development; Financial System Architecture; and/or e) understanding of audit principles, tools, and processes including risk assessments, reporting, and continuous monitoring.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment due to milestones; able to demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking; challenge the status-quo; not afraid to voice your thoughts with sound rational; sense of urgency; and taking ownership of your work and seeing it through completion.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $77,040 to $146,640 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California: $84,840 to $175,800

Colorado: $77,040 to $146,640

New York City: $92,520 to $175,800

Washington: $84,840 to $161,160

Washington DC: $84,840 to $161,160

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
