Senior Cost Accountant

Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and flux analyses in accordance with close calendar timelines
- Assist in developing and implementing scalable accounting processes to facilitate timely and accurate financial reporting, with the goal of reducing days to close
- Assist in documentation/implementation of internal controls and ensure SOX compliance in areas of responsibility
- Effectively partner with cross functional partners to implement scalable accounting processes related to inventory/asset management and provide critical support ensuring compliance with US GAAP
- Help with planning and execution of physical inventory counts, including reconciliation to inventory subledger and reviewing/posting any necessary adjustments
- Support internal and external auditors in the periodic review of the Company’s financial records
- Perform ad-hoc requests and other duties as assigned
Experience and Skills:
- BS degree in Accounting, CPA/CMA preferred
- 4+ years experience, including public accounting and manufacturing company experience
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with ERP asset/inventory tracking systems required - Oracle is strongly preferred
- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Ability to operate independently and as part of a larger functional team
- Self-starter and problem solver
- Experience with Inventory transactions and three-way match for billing mandatory

Starting in September 2023, this role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
The expected range of pay for this position in the US is $94,500 - $105,000 Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
