Senior Analyst, Business DevelopmentOverview:We aim to create a world beyond plastic through a combination of technology and strategic partnerships with industry players. We are creating great experiences for consumers across all channels and all devices, enabling players to reach new consumers in ways not possible in the pre-digital world. We work with digital merchants, retailers and other players to enable consumers to use connected devices for everyday shopping and payments.
Role:
Responsible for growing revenue by identifying and pursuing opportunities with new or existing customers/markets. Focuses on growing market share, Customer Revenue, the number of customer touch points, and Mastercard’s regional footprint. Sets sales strategy aligned with geography and segment strategy. Responsible for pipeline management at the segment level.
All About You:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, Business Administration, International Business, Finance.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English & Spanish
- Business experience and sales in the payment industry. Ability to network successfully within a complex organization and matrix manage initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of P&Ls associated with the acquiring/acceptance business.
- Motivated self-starter, ability to work independently, able to identify and direct activities to achieve objectives.
- Knowledge of the payments ecosystem, issuers, processors.
- Able to identify and capture opportunities for increasing Mastercard revenue and profitability while maintaining a customer focus.
- Ability to move sales prospects through a discipline framework that includes understanding the voice of customer and providing a solution that aligns with their needs.
- Negotiation Skills very developed: These accounts require: preparation, active listening, emotional control, verbal communication, collaboration, teamwork and strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision-making ability.
- Operating with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to perform financial analysis and responsible for P&Ls
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives.
- Strong Interpersonal skills. Ability to work cross functionally and across levels in a matrix organization.
