Data Analyst Responsibilities
- Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and statistical analysis to formulate deep-level insights that help identify trends & opportunities to drive growth of our business, and measure impact.
- Designs interconnected collections of high performance visualizations that enable clear narrative understanding as well as deeper, interactive exploration.
- Be a thought leader for data-informed initiatives and contribute to the team’s direction overall.
- Conduct in-depth investigations leveraging large and complex data sets.
- Partner with Data Science, Product, PM, Data Engineering and Software Engineering teams to solve problems at scale.
- Inform, influence, and execute new strategies and tactics using analysis and impact metrics.
- Applies emerging quantitative tools or techniques when they can enhance research conclusions.
- Determines success metrics that measure short and long-term progress for both goal and project performance.
- Foster a community of analysts within the organization by sharing best practices and mentoring.
- Build narrative around data quality for advertiser data and provide insights that will help in better client identification opportunities for the business.
- Handle relational and non- relational databases, data frames and/or Business Intelligence development, performing data transformations and data manipulation.
- Design and develop data solutions that help product and business teams make data driven analytical decisions tailored to improve data management.
- Leverage appropriate analytical techniques to draw conclusions from structured and unstructured data and answer exploratory and hypothesis-based questions that inform data-driven decisions.
- Creates visual representation that efficiently delivers information and enables the discovery of insights from trends, outliers, and patterns in the data.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field and two years of work experience in the job offered or in an analyst or computer-related occupation.
- Experience must include at least 2 years of experience in the following:
- 1. Data Lake/Hadoop platform implementation experience for data analytics projects
- 2. Relational databases, including Oracle, Postgres and MySQL, and large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop and Spark
- 3. Database querying language(SQL) and programming language (Python) for data processing, data analysis and analytics
- 4. Apply data architecture and data modeling techniques within the advertiser and marketing data domain
- 5. Perform quantitative and statistical analysis using advanced methodologies, including linear and logistic regression and forecasting models

$184,802/year to $203,280/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
