Reality Labs Wearables is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) leader to lead complex infrastructure and productivity programs for our current and future products. The Wearables organization is responsible for the Ray-Ban AR glasses and other wearable hardware. Meta TPMs operate at the intersection of technical execution and our product teams, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and a variety of cross-functional teams to bring products to market. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager who will be an integral part of the Wearables Developer Infrastructure team. TPM's at Meta are experienced leaders with technical and program management skills who is skilled at communicating with all levels of the company. This role is for someone who has a commitment to creating a high quality developer infrastructure and increasing productivity in the organization. We look for technical program managers who have a solid technical foundation, are motivators, cross-functional relationship builders and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution.
Technical Program Manager, Wearables Developer Infrastructure and Productivity Responsibilities
- Drive cross-organizational and portfolio partners to own and execute several large-scale workstreams to meet goals, building partnerships with managers and engineers across infrastructure and product teams
- Bootstrap programs in ambiguous areas, requires managing multiple cross organization or cross company interdependencies
- Monitor and report on program progress, including risks and issues, and take necessary actions to mitigate them
- Demonstrate end-to-end ownership and thought leadership across multiple organizations and influence strategic direction impacting long term plans for critical infrastructure challenges in collaboration with engineering leaders and stakeholders
- Resolve conflicts, maintain clarity on priorities and drive progress on execution
- Effective at resolving intra-organizational issues and escalating or driving solutions to cross-organizational issues
- Drive with technical expertise within the team, coordinating and contributing to engineering deliverables
- Collaborate with multiple teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management
- Proven experience delivering complex technology programs and/or products from inception to delivery
- Proficiency in understanding user needs, gathering requirements, and defining project scope to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Experience operating across multiple teams, with demonstrated critical thinking and thought leadership
- Experience in defining and optimizing engineering processes at scale
- Experience shaping strategy/direction and identifying new opportunities for impact across products, platforms, and programs
- Experience communicating effectively at the executive level and influencing leadership and technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on Infrastructure initiatives
- Experience working with Emulation teams
- Experience working across multiple locations effectively
- Experience putting strategies into action to increase developer productivity

$134,000/year to $196,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
