Privacy Program Manager Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional privacy review process for new products and features.
- Facilitate discussion and coordination among product managers and other information security/privacy stakeholders across the company, including members of the legal, public policy, product marketing, security, and communications teams to develop and drive consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges.
- Research and stay up to date with information security and data protection trends and will recommend improvements to consumer product teams and other privacy stakeholders.
- Track and document new product proposals, status updates, and key decisions related to Meta’s privacy review process.
- Communicate privacy decisions to the broader cross-functional team, and ensure that those decisions are properly implemented.
- Responsible for relationship building and collaboration within cross-functional teams, especially to facilitate collaboration on information security and privacy processes and initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Management, or a related field and four years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation
- Requires four years of experience in the following:
- 1. Program management, strategy, management consulting, communications, operations privacy policies, or regulations
- 2. Technology field experience
- 3. Managing projects
- 4. Managing the organization, coordination, multi-tasking, and process-improvements on a project
- 5. Working within a product environment and partnering with product managers and engineering functions
- 6. Tracking and documenting new product proposals, status updates, and key decisions
- 7. Corresponding regularly with company executives to provide regular privacy consultations and program reporting

$231,074/year to $255,200/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
