Software Engineer Responsibilities
- Full stack web/mobile application development with a variety of coding languages.
- Create consumer products and features using internal programming language Hack Implement web or mobile interfaces using XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work closely with our PM and design teams to define feature specifications and build the next generation of products leveraging frameworks such as React & React Native.
- Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services.
- Build report interfaces and data feeds.
- Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance.
- Proactively identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area and/or systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics Applied Sciences or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related. occupation. Foreign degree equivalent accepted
- Requires 1 year of experience with the following:
- 1. Relational databases and SQL
- 2. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)
- 3. Core web technologies: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
- 4. Building highly-scalable performant solutions and
- 5. Designing scalable distributed systems with established partition tolerance, consistency, and availability guarantees

$226,929/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
