About the Role
MetaProp is recruiting a part-time, paid intern to support the firm’s Capital Formation & Investor Relations activities. You’ll work directly with MetaProp’s senior leadership and play a meaningful role in research, CRM management, fundraising logistics, and investor communications. Candidates must be able to commit up to 25 hours per week through Summer 2025. This position is based at our NYC HQ, with a minimum in-office presence of two days per week.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investor Research & Database Support
Conduct deep research on strategic LPs, their investment mandates, historical commitments, and decision-making processes.
Support development of investor profiles, identifying key decision-makers and strategic fit.
Help maintain CRM records to track outreach, interactions, and follow-ups.
2. Fundraising Pipeline Management & Process Support
Assist with preparation of fundraising materials, investor decks, and data room updates.
Track key metrics and activities across the fundraising pipeline to run an organized and data-driven fundraising process, including weekly pipeline reviews, activity tracking, and reporting against KPIs.
3. Investor Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up
Prepare detailed briefing notes ahead of investor meetings, ensuring GPs are fully informed on LP backgrounds and priorities.
Help draft follow-up communications post-meetings, ensuring investors receive timely responses to their questions.
4. Strategic Support & Learning Opportunities
Attend select internal fundraising meetings and strategy sessions.
Contribute to team brainstorms on investor engagement tactics, events, and fundraising campaigns.
Monitor market trends, competitive fundraising activity, and LP capital deployment to support fundraising strategies.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications:
Current undergraduate student pursuing a B.A. (Business, Economics, Political Science, or related fields preferred).
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently.
Clear, concise communication skills (written and verbal).
Genuine interest in venture capital, real estate, technology, and/or fundraising.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Affinity, etc.).
Previous internship experience in VC, PE, real estate, finance, or non-profit development.
