Senior Account Manager, IT-Enabled Services
IT, Sales & Business Development
Drawing on your understanding of the IT-Enabled Services industry, including the ongoing pressure to improve delivery margins, automate high-volume processes, enhance customer experiences, and evolve from traditional labor-based models to AI-powered, outcome-driven services, you will help customers identify emerging technology trends and define a compelling vision for transformation. You will engage with business and technology leaders to understand strategic priorities, align Microsoft solutions to business outcomes, and build trusted advisor relationships. Working across customer, Microsoft, and partner teams, you will orchestrate opportunities, shape strategic initiatives, and develop digital transformation roadmaps that balance long-term objectives with measurable near-term value. Through your leadership, you will help customers accelerate innovation, drive operational excellence, and unlock new sources of business growth powered by cloud, data, AI, and automation.

Responsibilities
Industry Expertise
Apply your knowledge of the ITeS sector to shape a transformation strategy aligned to the customer's business outcomes, improving delivery efficiency, automating processes at scale, and enabling new AI-led service lines. Challenge and guide the organisation through constructive conversations about their business and technology.
Strategic Customer Engagement
Develop a full understanding of the customer's business needs, priorities, and strategies, and deliver new insights that help them address those priorities jointly with Microsoft. Demonstrate long-term, differentiated value, and proactively build relationships across multiple levels of the customer's organisation to secure alignment and execution. Keep the bigger picture in view, absorbing complex information and bringing creative, conceptual problem-solving to every engagement.
Business Relationship Owner
Define the strategic vision and lead the transformation alongside the customer's CxO-level technology, digital, and business decision-makers. This calls for strong leadership and the confidence to challenge conventional thinking — because your success is measured by your customer's success.
Customer development and growth
You will develop and execute a strategic and tactical business plan aligned with Microsoft goals and objectives for managed customers to grow their IP business along with increasing internal AI and cloud consumption
Customers Sales and Acceleration
You will develop a go to market plan and Co-Sell execution tactics, lead pipeline reviews and coach customers to transform their strategies around sales and consumption. You will facilitate collaboration between customer and Microsoft internal teams to overcome obstacles, compete, and create proposals to meet consumption and revenue targets
Executive Relationship Building
You will build a trusted-advisor relationship with C-suite leaders of complex partners and align their priorities, strategies, and goals with Microsoft’s to build mutually beneficial account plans and achieve strategic alignment and growth.
Market Insight and Business Opportunity
You will identify top opportunities to pursue with customers incorporating your expertise, market insights, and deep knowledge of the competitive landscape ensuring Microsoft position as the industry leader.
Team Mobiliser and Orchestrator
Work closely with Microsoft ITES ATU Team based in India. Navigate Microsoft and its ecosystem to maximize value for your customer. From executive sponsors to product experts and commercial leaders, bring the full strength of the organisation to bear so your customer receives complete, coordinated support.
Sales Leader and Operational Excellence
Deliver results by understanding digital transformation drivers and customer priorities. Identify new opportunities and help customers accelerate their move to the digital age, for their own benefit and that of their customers and stakeholders, achieving consistent, repeatable revenue and consumption targets.
Sales Challenger
Continuously deepen your industry and technical knowledge. Bring innovative industry solutions, benchmarks, and references to C-level executives that drive efficiency, optimisation, and greater customer satisfaction.
Strong Communicator
Articulate complex problems and solutions in a clear, logical, and impactful way.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration AND 2+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education) and/or driving digital transformation OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in a relevant industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education) and/or driving digital transformation OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States that does not now or in the future require employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, solution consulting, technical consulting, or technology strategy roles, with a proven track record of driving customer business outcomes.
- 5 Yrs + Experience working with Indian IT enabled services & Work closely with Microsoft IT-Enabled Services team based in India.
- Experience engaging and influencing executive-level decision makers, including CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and business leaders.
- Experience leading AI, cloud modernisation, cybersecurity, or digital innovation programmes. Industry-recognised certifications in Cloud, AI, Security, Architecture, or related technology domains.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, consulting, and strategic planning skills.
- A genuine interest in technology, with a solid foundation in core technologies.
- Deep experience solving IT Enabled Services business challenges — service-delivery automation, contact-centre and customer-experience modernisation, scaling multi-client delivery platforms, and data security and compliance for client data — through innovative technology solutions.
Account Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year.
