The Microsoft Americas Operations team is looking for a detail-oriented Recruiting Event Coordinator to help drive our hiring events service to successful outcomes. The roles you will support are critical to the success of our Americas Delivery team. You will be working closely with stakeholders to land top talent across our organizations.
As an Event Coordinator you will be at the center of each hiring event with the ability to truly have an impact on the overall success of the team and company. To be successful in this role you need to understand the hiring process from start to finish in a high-volume environment. You should be comfortable and effective at delivering optimal results in fast paced and urgent environments.

Responsibilities
- Work with key stakeholders in delivering and managing hiring needs while understanding the requirements of a role, the business challenge, and how it fits into the organization.
- Identify opportunities to develop and improve programs, and work with others to define program strategy and create project plans. Drive for clarity in program issues and strive for simplification. Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines.
- You will own the event logistics and candidate lifecycle all the way to the point of interview and will be paramount in ensuring the interview day is successfully coordinated and delivered.
- Collaborate closely with others while coordinating hiring events with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in an ambiguous environment to meet business needs.
- Work with schedulers and recruiting partners to ensure remarkable candidate experience. Recommend and drive improvements with recruiters and interviewing teams to effectively screen and assess talent.
- Educates and drives for clarity on the appropriate processes and policies to ensure that compliance requirements are met. Leverages data and performance metrics to demonstrate the value of the program and show business impact
- Supports and contributes to define and track the success criteria and performance metrics, and effectiveness for the program.
- Communicate professionally and always maintain a high level of confidentiality both internally and externally with our candidates.

Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 2+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) experience navigating an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- 1+ year(s) experience with event planning and/or interview scheduling in a high volume, complex environment.
- 2+ years experience in project management
- Decisive and able to challenge constructively when appropriate to obtain objectives.
