The Cloud Infrastructure Acquisition Land team is responsible for the acquisition and planning of Data Center real estate needed to build out Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure. The types of projects include land acquisition, Build to Suit lease transactions and working on overall region planning.

The Real Estate Analyst will be based in the United States, report to the Sub-Regional Land Acquisition Lead and will be responsible for support of land acquisition work which could include support of the Land Acquisition Managers and Land Program Managers from site selection, the acquisition process and through items associated with pre-construction in the North American regions.

This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution and impact to one of the largest data center portfolios on the planet. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the recommendations on the strategy to improve and expand our infrastructure in various North American markets. You’ll assist with the reporting on project progress, coordinate meetings with internal and external parties, and participate with internal teams on driving the acquisition process forward. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related degree
    • OR equivalent experience.

Real Estate Portfolio Management IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $66,900 - $119,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $89,600 - $134,400 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Supports evaluation, selection, and recommendations of acquisitions for approval.
  • Partners with management of the acquisition process for land including tasks which can range from site selection to municipal collaboration for pre-construction work.
  • Participates in the research and analysis of real estate market information.
  • Contributes to the recommendations on the strategy to improve and expand our infrastructure in various North American markets.
  • This position may require periodic travel to assigned geographies.
