The Accounting Operations (AO) team is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic process excellence professional to join our process excellence team. This team is focused on supporting the global AO team in driving continuous improvement and optimising business processes, in addition to leading key strategic projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND extensive accounting or finance experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with data analysis and developing solutions to enhance processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in change management with the capability to lead and support the adoption of new technologies and process improvements.
  • Process and Systems Design: Proven experience in designing new processes, systems, and controls to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Outsource Provider Experience: Preferable experience working with outsource providers, managing third-party relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Strong project management and partnering capabilities, with proven ability to influence and collaborate across groups, and lead and facilitate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

The Accounting Operations Senior Financial Analysis Manager is responsible for supporting the AO Governance team drive oversight and management of the fiscal accountability across Global Operations, Integration Operations, Statutory and Tax Operations. An ability to embrace technology and explore future opportunities to enable the best use of resources to achieve business objectives.

This is a critical role in the Accounting Operations Governance team, with the main responsibilities as follows:

  • Ability to analyse key financial information, analyse and map finance processes, identify inefficiencies, make comparative analyses and recommendations for improvements.
  • You will use data to identify opportunities, communicate results, incorporate process methodologies, and leverage feedback to identify opportunities for future process improvements and work with teams to implement and execute them.
  • Capacity to identify opportunities in developing automated accounting applications and coordinating information requirements.
  • Manage relationships across internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Partner closely with the Process Excellence team to drive business objectives.
  • Ad hoc projects: supporting key strategic projects and initiatives with a focus on resource and process efficiencies to achieve business objectives.
  • Engage in continuous learning of Microsoft services, product, infrastructure, operations, and go-to-market.
