To deliver on our vision, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Azure Linux Operating Systems (OS) development and working with hardware. Someone who is ready to learn and dive deep into new technical areas - who is sparked by curiosity, wanting to not just understand how systems work, but strive towards improving the system through increased performance, security hardening, reliability, and maintainability.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical experience / background in Linux Operating Systems development (boot, kernel, drivers, networking, storage, etc)
• ARM64 debugging and development experience
• Accelerated networking and storage experience
• Experience with building and debugging AI infrastructure

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations, validations and tools that work across scenarios and customers.
• Develop clean, secure, maintainable, and efficient code by adhering to industry best practices.
• Develop and integrate with open-source Linux solutions across the operating system.
