You will bring your consulting finesse, technical acumen, and deep compliance knowledge to execute external assessments in our commercial audit space against global standards such as SOC and ISO.

We are looking for someone who has the technical depth required to effectively communicate with Subject Matter Experts from Compliance, Security, Engineering, Operations, Support, and other disciplines.

As a member of the M365 Commercial Compliance team, your primary focus will be successfully developing and delivering our commercial compliance and driving new initiatives to further expand our compliance portfolio according to business and customers’ needs. L

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Relevant Certification (e.g., International Organization for Standardization [ISO] Lead Auditor, International Association of Privacy Professionals [IAPP], Certified Public Accountant [CPA], Certified Information Privacy Professional [CIPP]).

Responsibilities

  • Represent Microsoft’s controls over regulatory requirements to external vendors, assessors, external customers and regulatory bodies.
  • Select, manage, and lead discussions with external regulators and customers to ensure that Compliance obligations are achievable in a fast-paced cloud computing environment.
  • Develop a communications strategy to evangelize our robust portfolio and innovative work to internal and external customers and executives.
  • Help identify and evolve an audit strategy to ensure the Compliance Program keeps pace with Office 365’s rapid growth while reducing the impact on operational teams.
  • Facilitate cross company collaboration in Regulatory Compliance by establishing partnerships with other Microsoft Security teams with the overarching goal of improving trust of Microsoft and its products.
