Microsoft Consumer Sales Organization (CSO) works across all Microsoft products and services sold to consumers, under two Microsoft Solution Areas: Gaming and Devices & Creativity covering Surface, Office, and Windows. The CSO team partners with internal and external customers to maximize revenue, market share, and mutual profit ensuring the highest ethics and compliance in any action.
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and collaborative professional to join our team as a Senior Finance Manager - CSO Gaming supporting CSO Gaming Retail and Digital teams. This role covers a wide range of responsibilities including Profit and Los (P&L) management, financial modeling, business partnership, and rhythm of business management.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field

OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field

OR equivalent experience.

- 1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry. 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization. 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles. Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
- OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or Finance work experience
- OR equivalent experience.

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.

Responsibilities
- Manage the financial Rhythm of Business (ROB), encompassing month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical processes for your business unit.
- Collaborate with the leadership team, offering insights on financial drivers, influencing strategic decisions through data-driven analysis, and fostering accountability.
- Develop financial models and frameworks to assess the financial impact and Return on Investment (ROI) of marketing and headcount investments.
- Lead the consolidation of business outcomes, crafting a cohesive expenditure narrative across Costs of Goods Sold (COGS) and Operating Expenses (OPEX).
- Implement process improvements through effective partnerships and a deep understanding of business operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring the accuracy of financial documents and control processes.
