Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Software Engineer to join our team in Prague. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Microsoft Graph and Copilot Extensibility Developer Experiences tooling. You will collaborate closely with our talented engineers in USA, Canada and Kenya to design, build, and maintain robust and scalable solutions that enhance our products and services.

We are looking for a strong engineer who is passionate about building new products while also having experience with maintaining complex software applications in production. We seek an ideal candidate who can produce high-quality solutions with the team and contribute to and benefit from a collaborative and diverse team environment by coaching and mentoring others. The ideal candidate is versatile, able to learn quickly, and adaptable to changing needs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in software engineering and building complex business applications
  • Strong track record as a hands-on engineer designing and delivering elegant solutions to meet complex design and architectural challenges in a cloud services environment.
  • Extensive experience in .Net core and C#
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of Microsoft Graph and Copilot Extensibility Developer experiences tooling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Lead architecture discussions, create proposals, and oversee junior team members. Ensure system architecture meets security and compliance requirements.
  • Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of our solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
