To help us achieve our objectives, growth, and transformation, CO+I is looking for an experienced Sr. Business Program Manager who can lead complex engagements across key datacenter suppliers, collaborating across business and engineering stakeholders to drive strategic partnership development.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

  • 6+ years experience in technical program management.
  • 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 6 years of supplier or customer-facing experience. Experience working within a business development organization is a plus.
  • Experience exploring investment options and present risk and opportunities.
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency, and turn in quality work quickly, under time constraints.
  • Flexibility with a willingness and desire to go above and beyond what is required.
  • Proficiency in use of process improvement methodology (ex. Lean, Six Simga, and DMAIC-Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control).
  • Experience in successfully working with both technical and business subject matter experts across multiple organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to define customer-focused scenarios, author business cases and track value realization, and drive keen insights and identify opportunities to develop solutions.
  • Previous experience in data analytics/modeling and datacenter infrastructure management.

Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Work with team leaders on key programs and strategic initiatives to develop clarity on engagement scope and deliverables.
  • Establish a results-oriented, metrics-driven programmatic approach to deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, driving assessments in collaboration with other teams, conducting competitive analyses, financial modeling and examining customer and technology-related industry trends, as well as industry-specific requirements/regulations and opportunities.
  • Define best practices for business cases that drive long-term, integrated, cross-business solutions and roadmaps that improve business performance and mitigate risk, while driving innovation and collaboration with key suppliers to enable growth and scale.
  • Determine and lead large scale process improvements to quickly scope insights. Ensure alignment between the customer, the market, internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and the goals and strategy of Microsoft.
  • Drive simplification and automation to evolve processes, services, and solutions, to increase agility and efficiencies and lower costs.
  • Lead the tracking, coordination, and communication of end-to-end project schedules and plans.
  • Establish and monitor processes, while driving accountability with stakeholders to follow the established schedule and processes.
