At Microsoft, we are deeply committed to our customers, and Azure CXP's Product Engineering organization is charged with building the products & platforms that unify customer engagements, customer care, and provide cross-cloud consistency to our internal and external customers.

We are looking to hire a seasoned product leader to envision and build a Customer Engagement platform that will take a One Microsoft approach to enable engineering teams to better prepare, engage, and communicate with our Microsoft cloud customers. As the Engagement Product Manager, you will lead and be responsible for the overall performance of a product management team and customer engagement portfolio of products. You will define the long-term vision and strategy for our Customer Engagement platform based on a deep understanding of cloud customer needs, market and user research, and Microsoft’s business goals and strategy. You will be expected to lead others and to create clarity in a complex organizational environment, generate energy through a bias towards action, and deliver results against our product success criteria, and performance metrics. As a people manager, you will deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring. Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development, where your primary responsibilities involved the design of software features working closely with an engineering team
  • OR equivalent experience
  • 4+ years people management experience building, leading, and supporting high-performing distributed teams
  • Demonstrated history of customer focus and end-to-end thinking across product areas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience
  • 6+ years people management experience
  • 5+ years’ experience translating customer requirements and scenarios into features, including writing software specifications for customer facing user experiences
  • 3+ years of experience in one of the following public cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • The ability to use knowledge of User Experience Design (UX, UXD, UED or XD) to enhance user satisfaction with a product. This includes improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure provided in the interaction with the product
  • Commitment and passion in creating/nurturing a diverse and inclusive team environment; serving as a visible and vocal proponent of the org and team culture.
  • Track record of problem solving and using pilot programs, prototypes, and growth hacking approaches
  • Thrive in fast paced, agile environments, and able to learn new areas quickly

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

    • In this role you will lead a team of Product Managers in defining customer engagement experiences for Microsoft Cloud customers. You will be responsible for defining and driving the vision, strategy, and execution in partnership with Engineering, Design, and User Research teams.
    • You will influence and collaborate with a wide network of senior executive leaders and stakeholders to create clarity and alignment of our customer experience product strategy
    • Lead teams to perform experiments to test hypotheses and inform decisions on what new feature areas to introduce. Use research evidence to influence feature prioritization.
    • Through active coaching, you will model empathy and humility resulting in a highly engaged organization, while exploring new, inventive ways to improve organizational health, embody and advance the growth mindset, and drive the continued evolution and progress of the diversity and inclusion mission
    • You will be comfortable with ambiguity and deal with complex situations by creating clarity for your direct reports and their teams
