Do you love working with customers and partners to achieve their business outcomes? In this role, the main goal is to support Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) build well architected applications across the Microsoft tech stack, publish those applications to the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace, and grow their business levering the marketplace’s ecommerce platform and capabilities. You will sit within an entrepreneurial and high-performing team at the center of one of Microsoft’s top initiatives and – with the aid of best-in-class sales processes, techniques, and technologies – be empowered to shape relationships with ISVs.
As the Business Program Manager, Independent Software Vendor Technical Lead, you will lead our vendor technical team in Americas which serves as the technical point of contact for the ISV helping them build, publish, and grow their applications on the marketplace. This role will partner closely with our ISV Journey and Marketplace teams as well as engineering, marketing, partners, finance, and legal across Microsoft.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years technical architect, technical consulting, design, and implementation, and/or technical sales experience
Additional Qualifications
- Ability to generate trust, build alliances, and orchestrate interdisciplinary teams to the benefit of ISVs required.
- Thought leader with executive presence, including the ability to hold CxO and BDM level discussions
- Motivated by ISV success and strong cross business collaboration required.
- Understanding of Cloud Platforms and the ability to engage with ISV technical leadership as a trusted adviser.
- Have one of the following Associate Certifications: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate Certified, or Azure Administrator Certified, or prepared to attain certification within 3 months.
- Ability to identify new technical and business trends and needs and serves as the customer's voice into Microsoft.
- Experience leading virtual teams.
Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.

Responsibilities
Lead high performing vendor teams: coach to maximize the impact of customer engagements and drive mid-to-long-term strategy.
• Represent voice of the ISV: identify, evaluate and respond to trends, feedback, gaps, blockers, and insights to improve ISV experience, time to publication, and profitability/growth.
• Uncover, aggregate, and synthesize data about ISV business, complex technical requirements, and issues.
• Anticipate, identify, and remove technical blockers through regular technical reviews and check ins to accelerate architecture implementations.
• Develop and expand existing impactful relationships with ISVs, technical decision makers (TDMs), and business stakeholders
• Lead virtual teams around technologies and ISV challenges by sharing ideas, insight, and strategic, technical input with technical teams, internal communities across the field.
• Lead architecture design, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization across multiple applications for the ISV.
