The Technical Program Manager Lead – Modern Work, Business Applications, & Copilot is a critical leadership position responsible for the Adoption and Usage of our Modern Work, Business Applications, and copilot Solutions across all innovation hub locations. The future leader has a technical background and is passionate business leader with a talent for mentoring and coaching to help further develop our teams across multiple countries. The cloud platform and modern work Leader is thriving in a high-performance culture and enjoys nurturing and developing some of the highest technical talent inside Microsoft.
You will join an established program staffed with an extraordinary team of technologists and creatives running one of the world’s broadest and most impactful executive technical sales programs. You’ll deliver into a world-wide community of exceptional peers, with access to the latest software and hardware, and you’ll be given the time and budget to develop as a globally influential technical leader.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 8+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
- OR equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience managing multi-country cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 5+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technical program management experience in the productivity and/or business processes domain.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technical program management experience in the productivity and/or business processes domain.
- People Management Experience: Engineering, technical sales, consultative delivery management experience or equivalent.
Business Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.

Responsibilities
- Technical & Innovation Leadership: You are responsible for the Microsoft Innovation Hub Modern work and copilot team. This includes hub technical architects leadership, pipeline management, leveraging events for strategic advantage. Your role is to set a vision around Modern work and copilot offering and identify gaps in content; seek sponsorship to fill those gap. You should have a broad cloud technical background to engage at a global platform design, integrating copilot products and functionalities as part of an end to end solutions.
- Activation of the interactive theater narratives: Your role owns landing new content successfully in a range of experience formats like physical exhibits, digital signage, in-room demos, and immersive multi-media theaters. You own the content narrative for our 20+ ultra-widescreen LED walls – adapting assets to make best use of the available technology and authoring a persuasive, persona-based narrative journey through the best of Microsoft’s innovation. Work through our global communities to harvest and improve the best demos. You will ensure the latest messaging, demos and content gets to the people who need to use it. You will also deliver a small number of customer engagements – to keep your technical skills sharp and grounded in the everyday needs of our global teams.
- Defines success criteria and performance metrics through operational excellence: You will drive establish a culture of accountability and success through clear objectives, defining success metrics. You will drive the Innovation hub Modern work and copilot portfolio community to increase Modern work and copilot solution penetration and usage.
- Acts as a technical leader to empower and coach the Hub technical architects. You will work on exploring best practices, community management, skilling, and growth perspectives. The innovation hub teams are composed of experts in their field addressing the most challenging use cases and opportunities in their region. You will manage this world-wide community to ensure they stay up to date with the latest developments and innovations in your portfolio.
- This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft's technology stack, the ability to envision and architect beyond traditional product selling, and a focus on driving innovation through strategic use of Microsoft's technology in addressing customer and industry needs.
