We are seeking a Surface Devices Portfolio Go-To-Market Manager to manage the Microsoft Surface (AI PC/Copilot+ PC) portfolio strategy, focusing on driving innovation, enabling teams, and ensuring customer success through modern and effective app solutions.
This role is expected to own the Microsoft Surface go-to-market with various stakeholders: Sales, Technical pre-sales, Product Engineering Group, Marketing Teams Customers, Developers community and GSI.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience AND a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and generating demand and accelerating the pipeline within a complex organization (e.g., multinational or matrixed)
- Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to meet customer needs

Responsibilities
The Go-To-Market Manager for the Surface portfolio is responsible for managing the go-to-market strategy for Microsoft Surface devices, including Copilot+ PCs. These PCs are equipped with a neural processing unit (NPU) capable of performing over 40 TOPS (trillion operations per second), offering unique AI experiences like Recall, Cocreator, Click-To-Do, … These PCs revolutionize the industry by integrating AI directly into the hardware, enabling real-time processing and enhanced security.
Product Advocacy
- Act as the primary product and technical advocate, evangelizing products within the portfolio across the company and partners communities. Leverage product and/or technical expertise as well as industry, market, and competitive knowledge to develop competitive strategies, position the value proposition, and tailor messaging to both internal (e.g., sales and marketing readiness) and external audiences (e.g., press, analysts, partners, user community, customers)
- Identify and develop strategies to drive cross-selling scenarios and attach points across product/service areas to provide guidance to sales during customer engagements.
- Identify business opportunities to increase market penetration through customer engagement: engage with customers to understand their business needs, articulate the value of solutions, and develop business cases aligned with the customer's ROI expectations. Provide technical demonstrations and proof of concepts to accelerate time to consumption
- Conducts evaluation of product portfolio and implements measures to maintain effectiveness and adoption
Sales Enablement
- Ensure that the field communities have the leadership and enablement needed to run the business locally. Serve as the primary orchestrator between corporate and the field, ensuring product requirements are well known by product group.
- Provide thought leadership and ensure that the Business Group Lead, channels, and sellers are equipped with the knowledge and resources to sell. Strategically activate the partner ecosystem to enable and drive results. Identify failure points and orchestrate resources to mitigate them
Community Leadership
- Create and lead a field community dedicated to Hybrid & Local AI to foster seller success. Use listening systems and signals, business reviews, and other insight channels to discover gaps and needs for seller skilling and programs. Synthesize findings into insights, leveraging executive presence to influence decisions and proactively drive solutions and seller success
- Collaborate with business, to provide insights into the sales market, acting as a business conduit to broader internal and external stakeholders and adjusting plans when required to exceed business outcomes
- Engage 3rd parts like ISV (Independent Software Vendor), GSI (Global System Integrator) to identify relevant customer use cases
Cross-Functional Joint Planning
- The Product Porfolio GTM Manager work with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product teams (HQ), global and local partners, customers to ensure a good experience with Surface Copilot+ PC and hybrid or local AI experience identifying use-cases with customers and partners to operationalize and set the strategic vision (around cyber-security, sustainability, employee experience pillars) for our Surface product portfolio in the French market.
- Collaborate with various teams, including customers, partners, marketing, product groups, and business groups such as Azure, Modern Work, and Biz Apps, to drive business opportunities and synergies with a common business approach. Orchestrate resources and manage the business aspects of these projects
