To help us achieve our objectives, growth, and transformation he Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) organization is a data professional for our Data Center (DC) Demand Planning Team. This role is responsible for driving best practices in data analysis that will lead to better decision making as we grow in complexity.
This critically important role will be responsible for best in industry Data Center Cycle time. You’ll work with a diverse group of stakeholders across the globe to ensure a common understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). You’ll work to standardize project handoffs between vertical functions. You’ll perform competitive analysis to understand industry benchmarks and develop road maps to maintain Best in class performance and North start targets for DC construction. You’ll use Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) principals to identify process constraints and eliminate Work In Progress (WIP) backlogs.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 4+ years experience building a portfolio of Data Centers.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

Responsibilities
- Deliver Best in Class Cycle Time for Data Center Delivery from when the project is signaled to when its goes live.
- Work across a diverse group of global stakeholders and functions to align on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and best known methods for right first time delivery.
- You’ll collaborate to generate industry benchmark data to continue to ensure that Microsoft maintains its best in class position.
- You’ll help develop telemetry to help project delivery teams understand where their project constraints are and share learnings across the global team on how constraints and blockers were solved on prior projects.
- You’ll communicate to CO+I Exec’s at regular cadence on global project performance and help needed.
- You’ll work with our planning teams to right size our projects in construction inventory based on our cycle time performance.
