We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to be our first dedicated Senior Infrastructure Engineer, who can take ownership of our end-to-end infrastructure supporting both our web and mobile products. In this role you'll collaborate closely with other technical leads to design and implement infrastructure as code while adhering to best practices in security and compliance. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our build pipelines ensuring reliable, efficient, and secure deployment processes across all environments.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in DevOps, with a focus on releasing and maintaining live services and application to support smooth deployment and operational continuity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expereince in Agile development practices and expertise in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.
  • Experience of Azure deployments, including experience with Bicep and ARM templates.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles and practices.
  • Experience with systems shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python) and DevOps tools.
  • Experience in managing and monitoring Linux and Kubernetes runtimes (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Understanding of Sovereign cloud requirements and experience working within cloud compliance restrictions.
  • Experience with telemetry platforms that enable scalable, integrated, and extensible monitoring, diagnostics, and analytics for services (e.g., Geneva, Jarvis).
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.
  • Proven track record of customer-focused innovation.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.

  • Be a leader in the design and implementation for all infrastructure-related efforts.
  • Lead the design and implementation of DevOps workflows and release pipelines to optimize deployment processes.
  • Establish and maintain telemetry, monitoring, and alerting frameworks for services and applications to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Identify hard problems, evaluate the pros/cons of practical solutions, and drive decision making.
  • Become part of a talented team that values diverse ideas, perspectives, and backgrounds and be a role model for an open, honest, and inclusive approach to solving problems.
  • Mentor and develop engineers across all levels through sharing and learning.
  • Lead technical projects and model the culture of the team.
