We are looking for a Senior Business Program Manager for our team to support business and financial operations across the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) Organization. This Business Program Manager will be responsible for working across the organization to create structural efficiencies, optimize operations cadences and help define and execute on the operations rhythm of business and this person will be partnering with all CISO leaders supporting their strategic and operational plans.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
  • OR equivalent experience

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Business Program Management internal to Microsoft
  • Understanding of Security Engineering, organizational structure and operating rhythms
  • Experience with optimizing and streamlining operational processes
  • Ability to interface directly with key strategic Microsoft customers
  • Required capability and success building new programs.

Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • To stay competitive, you will perform program landscape analysis and examine business trends, while contributing to programs impacting the broader unit. You’ll also identify opportunities to develop and improve programs, and lead program strategy definition and project plan creation.
  • You will lead others who work with cross-functional stakeholders to design highly complex programs from initiation to delivery. You’ll also lead the definition and tracking of success criteria and performance metrics.
  • You will share best practices to define and execute on a landing and communication plan, leading the rhythm of business during execution. You’ll also share your expertise to promote the program and gain buy-in from stakeholders, partners, and customers.
  • As you lead a portfolio of projects, you’ll communicate the program status and risk to stakeholders, and hold them accountable to following the schedule. You’ll also lead cross-team collaboration to ensure program processes are executed efficiently.
  • You will provide insights to cost-benefit analyses and the evaluation of success metrics, while leading the synthesis of data analytics to derive insights and identify risks and opportunities. You’ll also lead and influence change management processes in the organization.
