The Azure Infrastructure’s adaptive cloud marketing team is on a mission to empower organizations to maximize their IT investments across diverse systems. By advancing Azure products, thought leadership, and go-to-market strategy, we enable our salesforce and partner ecosystem to deliver unparalleled value to customers.


In this role you will drive the marketing strategy and content for the operations and management portfolio of products such as governance, security, backup and disaster recovery. Key areas of focus include Azure management services for devices, servers, private cloud, Azure Policy, and more. You will also represent the adaptive cloud team in an Azure Infrastructure sale play, ensuring that our product and go to market (GTM) strategy are effectively executed in the field.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in product marketing, product management, technical marketing or related roles in the technology industry.
    • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in product marketing, product management, technical marketing or related roles in the technology industry.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1 year(s) experience working in cloud technologies.
  • Experience developing and executing effective marketing strategies and programs for complex and technical products and solutions.
  • Experience tailoring messaging for IT audiences.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in product marketing, product management, technical marketing or related roles in the technology industry.
    • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in product marketing, product management, technical marketing or related roles in the technology industry.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience working successfully cross functionally.
  • Experience with business model, pricing and finance.

Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the marketing strategy and content for Azure’s operations & management services portfolio, including Azure Arc, Azure Policy, and more.
• Lead launch and disclosures. Create and maintain compelling value propositions, messaging, and positioning for adaptive cloud offerings.
• Amplify the adaptive cloud approach through marketing campaign and field enablement.
• Gather customer insights and analyze competitors to refine product portfolio positioning.
• Identify opportunities in the operations and management space, contributing to strategic whitepapers and influencing the adaptive cloud roadmap through insights and collaborations.
• Craft industry-specific narratives with tailored storytelling and materials to highlight benefits, address regulatory challenges, and influence engineering to close product gaps.
• Create impactful content and land messaging at industry events.
• Foster strategic partnership with teams across Microsoft to amplify adaptive cloud’s reach through sales enablement, field support, interactive demos, etc.
• Manage marketing budget, key performance indicators (KPIs), return on investment (ROI) and reporting on customer adoption, revenue, and program effectiveness.
