Within CO+I, the Cloud Innovation Services & Solutions team is responsible for delivering solutions and services that enable reliable cloud growth and operational excellence, including end to end program management, security, risk and governance, planning, learning and development and sustainability.
The Cloud ESG team focuses on preparing for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) requirements and market expectations, and ensuring timely and accurate disclosure.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and solid proven experience in project management, including managing cross-departmental projects with remote and international teams
Demonstrated experience in effectively addressing and managing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges on both regional and international levels, ensuring compliance with global standards and adapting to diverse regulatory environments
Proven track record of effectively managing tight deadlines and adapting to rapidly changing circumstances across a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring continuous progress and alignment with strategic goals
Ability to influence with limited control, comfortable working through ambiguity, manage priorities independently and work across multiple time zones
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
Exceptional executive presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to senior leadership and stakeholders
Sound experience in risk management, including early identification and escalation of risks
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and demonstrated resilience and optimism
Background Check Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities
- Project Performance and Risk Management: Monitors project progress to ensure it meets defined objectives, schedule, and costs while proactively identifying and communicating potential risks and opportunities to prevent disruptions and safeguard successful implementation.
- Planning & Stakeholder Management: Collaborates closely with the Cloud ESG Lead to develop strategic / tactical plans and initiatives aligned with Cloud ESG function objectives and assists in stakeholder engagement efforts by facilitating communication, organizing meetings, and preparing materials for key stakeholders.
- Cross-Team Alignment: Facilitates cross-ESG-team communication and collaboration to drive synergies and maximizes efficiency in achieving Cloud ESG objectives.
- Information Management: Collaborates with various teams within the Cloud ESG function to gather relevant data, information, and insights and takes ownership of preparing, reviewing and finalizing materials and documentation for Cloud ESG SteerCo meetings, and facilitates key stakeholder decision making.
- Cross-functional PM SPOC: Serves as the primary interface towards other, cross-functional PMs.
- Rhythm of Business (ROB) Management: Oversees the cascading of multiple stream RoBs as well as relevant Cloud ESG-related objectives and key results (OKRs) throughout the organization. Monitors progress against objectives and milestones, identifies and flags dependencies, gaps and bottlenecks, and elaborates recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
- Budgeting: Assists in the development and management of the Cloud ESG function's budget in close collaboration with other departments. Tracks expenses, monitors budget utilization, and provides regular updates to the Cloud ESG lead and senior management.
- Process Improvement: Explores, recommends and supports the implementation of tools and processes to streamline the Cloud ESG Function management for improved scalability and agility.
