As a Software Engineer in our team, you will be working on products that not just offer solutions but also address multiple important aspects like scalability, security, privacy, etc. You will get an opportunity to see how large-scale businesses are run in the real-world, what are their computing problems and how different Azure offerings can be brought together to solve their requirements

Services:

  • Azure Local is a new hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) operating system delivered as an Azure service that provides the latest security, performance and feature updates. Deploy and run Windows and Linux virtual machines (VMs) in your datacenter or at the edge using your existing tools, processes and skill sets
  • Azure Stack Edge brings the compute power, storage, and intelligence of Azure right to where customers need it—whether that’s corporate data center, branch office, or remote field asset

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/master's degree or equivalent in Computer science or related field required
  • 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, deploying, maintaining cloud-based solutions
  • Great design, problem-solving and architecture skills with a deep understanding of scalability, reliability, performance, customer-focus and security
  • A highly motivated and self-driven individual with a penchant for innovative problem solving, attention to detail, and a passion for learning and continuous improvement
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms is highly desired
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services like App Service, Functions, SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Storage, and Kubernetes Service (AKS) is a plus
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaC, DevOps practices, and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross team stakeholders to capture user requirements, incorporate insights into future designs
  • Contribute architectural discussions and independently develop proposals
  • Deliver high quality system design that meets service reliability, performance, scalability requirements
  • Leads by example within the team by producing extensible and maintainable code
  • Use debugging tools and methodologies proactively and reactively to ensure product robustness
  • Maintain operational integrity of live services on a rotational, on-call basis. Act as a DRI for system monitoring and issue resolution
  • Develop internal tools to streamline product creation and evaluate current methods' applicability
