CSCP’s vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud Capacity Differentiated at Scale. Our mission is to deliver capacity for all cloud services predictably through intelligent systems driven by continuous learning and a world class organization. The CSCP Organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), decommissioning and disposition of Data center assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 200 datacenters supporting services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries worldwide.

The Supply Chain Software Engineering team is the place for technology professionals who want to be strategic business partners and the first to create innovative solutions - making a global impact on millions of customers and tens of thousands of employees using Microsoft software and services.

In this role, you will be helping deliver robust, quality business applications by collaboratively engineering our Supply Chain systems from the ground up to meet the specific requirements of our partners in a constantly evolving business environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with configuration in SAP MM and SD modules and/ OR equivalent experience.
- Strong design, coding, teamwork, partnership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to find a shippable solution given conflicting and ambiguous requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent engineering courses

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

  • Design and implement an SAP ecosystem that fulfils the company's business requirements, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
    • Understand integrated business processes within the SAP module, including interactions with extended business systems.
    To build world class solutions to meet business requirements using the latest technologies in SAP.
    • Adhere to and drive sound software engineering practices through design reviews, system design through well-defined interfaces across multiple components, code reviews, leveraging data / telemetry to make decisions.
    • Applies coding patterns and best practices.
    • Collaborate effectively with other disciplines of the project team.
    • Identify new opportunities to help meet our customers’ needs.
    • Stay educated on existing, emerging technologies and do POCs to evaluate technology fits for customer needs.
