In the Senior Product Marketing Manager, Identity role, you will help shape the future of identity and secure access at Microsoft. You will partner cross-functionally on the identity for AI roadmap, drive positioning and messaging of new features, and craft go-to-market (GTM) plans that increase awareness and usage of identity capabilities by security leaders and developers. As a business leader, you will drive marketing initiatives for cross-portfolio experiences and product roadmap for Microsoft Entra products to achieve customer and business outcomes. In partnership with product management and engineering stakeholders, you will lead the innovation that will help organizations secure and manage AI agent identities. You will serve as a subject matter expert and spokesperson with external and internal audiences.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

    • OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business

    • OR equivalent experience.

  • Experience in identity and network security or other security categories

  • Experience developing relationships with customers, senior executives, engineering teams, and other product and marketing groups

  • Experience creating messaging and content for AI-specific scenarios, aligned to customer needs
  • Demonstrated storytelling skills, and the ability to translate complex, technical ideas into simple customer stories that clearly articulate business strategy, benefits and differentiation

Additional/Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
    • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in technology product management, product marketing, or transferrable experience in developing product vision and strategy, value propositions, marketing content and GTM

  • Experience creating messaging and engaging content that romances product scenarios rooted in customer outcomes.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain collaborative relationships within SCI marketing and with partner teams across other marketing teams, Microsoft customer and partner solutions (MCAPs), Engineering, Finance and the community.
  • Drive product vision and roadmap for identity for AI agents based on customer insights, telemetry, market research and competitive analysis.
  • Drive messaging and positioning for identity for AI agents, and ensure that the products are integrated into the broader Microsoft Entra and Microsoft Security messaging.
  • Develop compelling narratives and stories that translate product experiences into customer outcomes and deliver supporting marketing assets including blogs, videos, power point presentations, demos, etc.
  • Be the product expert on new capabilities to customers, field sellers and partners, presenting at the Executive Briefing Center (EBC), Microsoft and industry events, customer and field engagements.
  • Partner with GTM and Experiences teams on plans for events, launches, product moments.
  • Lead cross-portfolio initiatives (e.g., end-to-end demos and narratives, editorial calendar or other critical marketing deliverables) based on business needs.
