Overview
The IDEAS Data Engineering team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to support Windows data needs, including telemetry, metrics, data engineering assets, and cross-team engineering collaboration. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to drive the development and implementation of data solutions that enhance our digital presence and improve customer engagement.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies, such as SQL, Python, Azure, and Power BI. Experience with data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams. Strong project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies.
- Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into data solutions that drive business value.
Other Requirements:
Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements that are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

- Experience with Windows Data: Familiarity with Windows data needs, including telemetry, metrics, and data engineering assets.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to data engineering and telemetry.

Responsibilities
- Data Strategy and Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the business goals and objectives. Manage data engineering assets, including data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Telemetry and Metrics: Define and implement telemetry and metrics to monitor and improve the performance of data solutions. Ensure data quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, DS, MLS, and internal customers to deliver data solutions that meet the needs of the business. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Lead and manage data engineering projects from inception to completion. Develop project plans, set milestones, and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
- Customer Focus: Understand customer needs and pain points. Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and improve customer satisfaction.
- Innovation and Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering. Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in data solutions.
