Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Global Strategic Account Executive to join our special Microsoft team dedicated to supporting a very complex, one-of-a-kind customer. This role involves working directly with our client on their priority initiatives, creating new and maintaining existing client relationships, and qualifying opportunities where Microsoft can help our client be successful.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 13+ years experience in working in an industry (Media, TelCo, Technology and/or Hospitality) to drive digital transformation
    • OR Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience working in an industry (Media, TelCo, Technology and/or Hospitality) to drive digital transformation
    • OR Master's Degree AND 9+ years experience working in an industry (Media, TelCo, Technology and/or Hospitality) to drive digital transformation
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience making recommendations to and/or collaborating with mid-to-senior level executives.
  • 8+ years experience closing large, complex agreements/deals.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 13+ years experience working in an industry (Media, TelCo, Technology and/or Hospitality) to drive digital transformation
    • OR Master's Degree AND 11+ years experience working in an industry (Media, TelCo, Technology and/or Hospitality) to drive digital transformation
    • OR equivalent experience

Strategic Account Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,000 - $217,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $168,600 - $237,500 per year.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Expand strategic customer relationships to drive larger impact for the customer and spread into other areas of the organization.
  • Anticipate issues/risks on customer satisfaction, determine the root cause of problems, remove blockers, and establish recovery action plans to improve the customer's overall experience.
  • Own the development of strategies that showcase the value added by Microsoft's innovative cloud offerings and ideas grounded on a deep understanding of industry trends and based on account needs and customer's expectations.
  • Leverage your internal network of industry experts to strengthen your knowledge of the industry, competitors, and customer business priorities.
  • Use your in-depth knowledge of Microsoft's offerings to share knowledge internally, influence customers' business capabilities, drive more competitive solutions, and enhance the growth of the account team.
