Qualifications

Required / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience in analyzing and using data to drive business insight and decisions
  • 4+ years experience in Excel, pivot tables and advanced modeling techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-motivation; quickly identifying what needs to be accomplished and getting it done
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math or Business Administration. CPA or MBA or the equivalent work experience to the MBA is a plus
  • 4 or more years' experience in financial analysis, financial forecasting or budgeting, and /or controllership, ideally in the technology industry preferred
  • Ability to manage through change while driving for process and operational efficiencies.

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will bring a combination of finance and business acumen, leadership, and influencing skills to this space to drive outstanding financial results in close alignment with our business partners.

  • Deep business Partnership: Serve as the primary finance partner to the Gaming Chief Operations Officer’s (COO) team. Apply strategic thinking to ensure investments are aligned to key priorities. Clearly communicate recommendations and scenario analysis to finance and business leaders.
  • Rhythm of Finance: Own close, forecast and budgeting processes for the Gaming COO team, ensuring predictability and compliance.
  • Financial Analysis: Take a macro-level view to analyzing results to understand performance against plan/forecast. Monitor trends and key levers, such as headcount and vendor investment against plan/forecast assumptions. Proactively communicate across multiple stakeholders to ensure successful end-to-end understanding of portfolios, processes, and planning.
  • Process Improvement: Own refining the people and non-people management process with the business and apply learnings for better accuracy in forecasting. Share best practice learnings across teams to enable broader group success.
