Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business and/or product marketing
    • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with experiential activations/ demos

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with audience marketing, event strategy, demo strategy
  • Ability to lead teams and manage agile projects.
  • Some technical understanding and ability to learn new products and technologies.
  • Communication skills, with the ability to simply articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences, especially to customers.
  • Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, making informed decisions based on data and common principles to ensure the success of the project or team.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Customer focus

Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Demo Strategy and execution: Identify new resources such as tenants, scripts, and platforms to support the industry event teams. Lead booth demo plan for event team.
  • Source data and identify scenarios to authentically showcase various environments and use cases (Eg. K12/ HEd verticals)
  • Ensure clear communication, training & support, stakeholder engagement, and continuous monitoring & feedback for the field, partners, and event staffers.
  • Evaluate and recommend new ways to showcase solutions: Eg. Interactive demos, snackable videos
  • Security compliance: Understand and implement comprehensive security measures for all demo resources and tenants in alignment with Microsoft’s security policy.
  • Develop tenants with MFA for events at scale, ensuring consistent application of security protocols.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness and compliance across teams.
  • Lead and support cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach, reducing thrash.
