Overview

The Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team is a sales organization accountable for the commercial partner business at Microsoft, and the mission is to build and sell Microsoft Cloud applications, services and devices with partners, empowering people, and organizations to achieve more.

As the Partner Solution Sales Leader for Modern Work, Security and BizApps businesses across China, your responsibilities include identifying and attracting partners who can deliver solutions that drive broader customer adoption of Microsoft technologies. Youll be expected to lead partner strategy across teams at territory or industry level to identify partners that can generate increased revenue with unique industry solutions. You'll be expected to monitor and manage co-sell engine development to deliver results across teams and supports individual contributors in their co-selling efforts. You'll be expected to track and assess co-sell/channel performance and adjusts strategies as needed to ensure success.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years people management experience.
  • Master's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Business Administration or related field AND 4+ years core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, or business development experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Business Administration or related field AND 6+ years core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, or business development experience OR 9+ years core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, or business development experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Growth: Understanding the industry, competition, and expected future developments and challenges, the business's competitive strengths and weaknesses, opportunities to grow the business and reduce operating costs; and awareness of the environment for opportunities.
  • Account Management: Manage individual customer/partner accounts or a portfolio of aggregate account pipelines by developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers/partners, tracking account status, and ensuring the health of account metrics.
  • Business Analysis: Identify business needs and determine solutions to business problems. Make recommendations to leadership team based on key performance indicators and maintains accountability for customer and partner experience indices.
  • People Management: This role has people management responsibilities including driving employee growth and development, executing projects, and managing performance.
  • Compliance: Maintains and stays up to date on sales compliance processes. Verifies, reviews, and approves sales execution submissions (e.g., funding requests). Ensures teams maintains alignment with Microsoft's compliance policies.
