Business administrators are the heart of a team; you keep the pulse of the group and ensure that business operations and activities keep moving forward. The Monetization and Business Planning (M+BP) team at Microsoft is dedicated to developing monetization strategies for our commercial and consumer products. As growth strategists, we focus on driving product innovation and operational excellence. Our team consists of business planners, data scientists, economists, operations specialists, admins, and researchers. The M+BP team is seeking a skilled business administrator to join our admin group. This Business Administrator will be supporting a vice president and their team and will work closely with the VP and business manager on projects and other tasks supporting the org. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a team player, and is passionate about their role as a business support professional. The position requires excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and accommodate diverse working styles; attention to detail; and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality. A successful candidate must demonstrate drive, initiative, and have a positive and professional approach.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years administrative support in a fast paced and complex environment, supporting executive or director level manager and team
- Experience with 2 or more Microsoft products and/or internal tools including: Outlook, Word, Excel, MSSpace, MSTravel, MyOrder, Employee Central.
- 2+ years experience with calendar management.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and basic administration work.
- Associate's/Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology)
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).
Business Support ATR-C - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $23.56 - $41.68 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $34.71 - $48.22 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Complex calendar management with attention to details, accuracy, timeliness, conflict resolution and alignment to the leader’s priorities and commitments.
- Timely and accurate reconciliation and interim approval of expenses.
- Work in partnership with M+BP and Marketing admin teams.
- Coordination and logistical support for onsite and offsite meetings/events including all hands, morale events, team training, and leadership offsites.
- Assist with headcount management, org chart maintenance and distribution, and security group ownership and management.
- Team support includes new hire onboarding and distribution of equipment and supplies.
- Be an active driver of team culture and cohesion.
- Ensure compliance with administrative operations policies and procedures.
- Occasional support for other General Managers (GMs). Assistance with vendor management. Build efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations and help define operational strategies. Undertake special assignments and projects as needed.
