The Global Payout Solutions (GPS) team within Microsoft are experts in compliant and accurate payments to Microsoft Suppliers and Partners. We leverage digital technologies and data-driven insights to streamline payment processes and influence business decisions. We are:

As the Senior Process Capability Manager in Global Payouts, you manage end-to-end payment processes within the Incentives & Marketplace portfolio. You ensure payment operations are timely, accurate, and compliant, driving efficiency through digital technologies. You oversee the health, improvement, measurement, compliance, and automation of payment processes with a passion for data excellence, process design, and high-quality execution. You embrace challenges, see opportunities where others see failures, communicate effectively to various levels, deliver difficult messages as needed, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business, Finance or related field AND 2+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, handling large datasets, and making data-driven decisions. Proficient in digital payment systems and advanced Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean, Business Process Management Professional, Change Management (e.g., Prosci), Six Sigma, and/or Agile certifications. Experience with process mining, modeling, and automation tools.
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience (e.g., data analytics) OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience (e.g., data analytics) OR equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft's business, product, and technical strategies with proven leadership and project management skills.
  • Experience with automation or citizen developer tools (Power Apps, Flow, etc.).

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all processes adhere to relevant regulations and standards, and manage risks associated
  • Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify opportunities for aligning with industry standards, increasing productivity/efficiency, and maintaining compliance/controls.
  • Process Methodologies: Apply process methodologies and implement function-level process improvements.
  • Change Management: Execute function-level change management by understanding the business, including readiness, timing, impact on stakeholders, data, tools, systems, policy, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Process Governance & Risk Management: Execute end-to-end governance for moderately complex processes within their line of business. Implement function-level risk mitigation controls and anticipate risk across a moderately complex process lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Management: Lead stakeholder engagement and manage relationships with various teams and partners
  • Supplier Governance: Maintain supplier governance for outsourced work
