The Americas GPS Go-To-Market (GTM) team is looking for a Security Partner Marketing Manager to build relationships with our channel partners and execute against our Security priorities. In this role you will work with cross-functional teams to build marketing plans, help partners optimize programs and incentive utilization to grow their Security practice, and develop and share insights into the health of our partner activation strategy. In this role, you will ensure our GTM investments support key Solution Area priorities as prioritized by the Region and ensure they meet the business objectives and partner priorities of the Americas region. As part of this role, you will work closely with the Microsoft sales organization, the Global partner solutions team, and Product Marketers in the Security organization.
The Americas GPS organization plays a critical role in Microsoft’s cloud growth and empowering the digital transformation for customers and partners in the Americas region. The GTM team within the Americas GPS organization is accountable for landing GTM, Marketing and Partner investments across all partner channels and customer segments. This role will report into the leader of the Security Partner Channels & Small, Medium, and Corporate (SMC) GTM team although you will work closely across and extensive stakeholder map to lead and orchestrate the Channel Partner GTM plan.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 7+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience
- OR equivalent experience
- Business level fluency to read, write and speak English.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 8+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years sales, marketing, technology-based, or business development experience
- OR equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
As a partner marketing manager you will work with a group of partners in the Microsoft ecosystem to land their Go-to-Market for Microsoft security solutions. In doing this you will:
- Business Leadership
- Build an understanding of the complex security market landscape and provide recommendations for optimizing our GTM based on partner feedback and best practices.
- Understand specific partner goals and develop and implement systems for tracking progress against these goals.
- Lead special initiatives with partners to test new solutions and drive business and market share growth.
- GTM Expertise
- Develop comprehensive Go-to-Market (GTM) plans with partners based on WW guidance, specific to each partner’s unique capabilities.
- Help partners develop unique value propositions for their security solutions and influence stakeholders within partner.
- Collaborate with partners to create and execute marketing strategies, monitor and adjust GTM plans based on market feedback and performance.
- Stakeholder Management
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence without authority to gain consensus on new ideas.
- Foster effective relationships with internal and external partners.
- Work with your GTM peers locally and in corporate to share best practices and learn from other teams.
- Analytical Bias
- Use first party and market data to build insights into your business and use those insights to drive effective marketing strategies with partners.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the success of marketing initiatives, and continuously refine strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Storytelling
- Communicate complex ideas in a clear and persuasive manner. Craft compelling narratives to support partner’s security transformation journey.
- Help partners develop engaging and effective marketing campaigns.
