The security team seeks a motivated, experienced Principal Technical Security Program Manager to join our benchmarking team. We are looking for someone who can dig into hard engineering problems, measure the core fundamentals of our systems, evaluate exciting new features, and drive executive reviews at the most senior levels.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 2+ years evaluating system performance using common industry and custom benchmarks.
  • 2+ years presenting to senior management strategy/product assessments
  • 1+ years using AI across various engineering workflows

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

Technical Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $161,600 - $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 - $314,400 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, analyze, and measure security products effectiveness and performance against alternative solutions.
  • Collaborate with multiple product teams to design and implement repeatable measurements using a data-driven approach capable of measuring the full stack including AI elements.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to understand and identify detection gaps, capabilities, assumptions, and improvements.
  • Be involved in customer conversations to identify opportunities, gaps and concerns.
  • Work directly on security reviews, complex automation coding and approval workflows across multiple teams.
  • Identifying the “top” customer pain points in UX using multiple techniques to acquire the data.
  • Study security products to understand and communicate dependencies and utilization/limits of underlying resource capabilities.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to develop a world class multi-cloud performance framework and reporting system.
  • Acts as a technical advisor to educate and evangelize competitive strengths and weaknesses across divisional boundaries.
  • Experienced writer and technical content presenter to all audiences and technical levels.
