Overview

This Technical Solution Play Lead is a pivotal role within our team, responsible for driving the integration and communication of Copilot and agent-focused strategies across various teams and initiatives. This role requires a dynamic individual who can connect the dots between Copilot and agent updates, customer needs, and business value, ensuring a cohesive and impactful Solution Play for our customers and partners.

The ideal candidate for the Technical Solution Play Lead is a strategic thinker with a background in product marketing and an understanding of AI and security solutions. They should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex Copilot and agent updates into clear, actionable insights for customers and field teams. A customer-centric mindset and the ability to analyze and address customer pain points are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
    • OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of AI Agent Architecture

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in product marketing and understanding of AI and security solutions.
  • Ability to translate complex Copilot and agent updates into clear, actionable insights for customers and field teams.
  • Experience in Development Framework such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Agent Service, Azure AI Foundry, Visual Studio, etc

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.

Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Connects directly with all Copilot and agent PMM teams: Establish and maintain strong relationships with Copilot and agent PMM teams to ensure alignment and integration of strategies.
  • Part of the vendor team for Copilot and agent moments: Actively participate in virtual teams to coordinate and execute key Copilot and agent moments, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.

Field and Customer Engagement

  • Supports Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions Group (MCAPs) with Field moments and Copilot and agent news:
  • Provide support to MCAPs by delivering timely and relevant Copilot and agent news and updates for field moments.
  • Supports Partner Marketing team around Copilot and agent news:Provide support to Partner Marketing team by delivering timely and relevant Copilot and agent news and updates for partner moments.
  • Connects thought leadership between Copilot and agent updates and the how: Bridge the gap between Copilot and agent updates and practical implementation, providing thought leadership on how to leverage new features and capabilities.

Customer-Centric Solution Play Tactics

  • Packages Copilot and agent news so that customers get the how: Develop and deliver Copilot and agent news in a way that clearly communicates the practical applications and benefits to customers.
  • Looks at customer pain points and customer reality maps: Analyze customer pain points and reality maps to ensure Solution Play tactics answers real-world challenges.
  • Works closely with Product Marketing Manager (PMM) on quarterly Microsoft Provisioning Framework (MPF) updates:Collaborate with PMM teams to integrate customer feedback and insights into MPF updates during planning.

Cross-Solution Play Integration

  • Connects across solution area stakeholders for Copilot and Security for AI go-to-market strategy and tools
  • Ensure cohesive messaging and strategy across solution areas, particularly for Copilot and security in the context of AI.
  • Work closely with all Modern Work Solution Play owners to ensure cross-pollination of play tactics.
  • Connect the dots across solution play narratives: Develop and maintain comprehensive customer conversation for AI agents that connect various solution plays, highlighting their interdependencies and collective value.

Solution Play Business Value

  • Connects with Business Value PMM for understanding of agents business value and costing: Partner with the Business Value PMM team to gain a deep understanding of the business value and cost implications of agent solutions, ensuring accurate and compelling Total Cost Ownership (TCO) flow in Solution Play.
