We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Consultant with deep expertise in the Microsoft 365 product suite, including Intune, desktop, and device management. This role bridges the gap between technology and business, providing strategic guidance, technical leadership, and hands-on delivery for enterprise-scale clients. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to stakeholders, bringing a blend of strong technical capability and business insight to drive transformational outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Technology consulting with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • Proven experience architecting and delivering Azure Landing Zones, governance, policy management, and role-based access control.
  • Deep understanding of Azure networking.
  • Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong grasp of cloud security, cost management, identity (Azure AD), and monitoring (Log Analytics, Azure Monitor).
  • Experience engaging with enterprise clients and managing complex stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and business analysis skills.
  • Experience working within Defence or Federal government preferred.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or DevOps Engineer Expert are highly desirable.

This position requires verification of Australian citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports Australian government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate’s citizenship will be verified with a valid passport.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic Microsoft 365 and Desktop/Endpoint Management focused engagements, advising clients on best practices for cloud productivity, security, compliance, and endpoint management.
  • Design and deliver modern workplace solutions involving Microsoft 365, Intune, Autopilot, Azure AD, Defender for Endpoint, and related technologies.
  • Develop architectures for device management, application delivery, identity access management, and secure endpoint configuration.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in customer workshops, envisioning sessions, assessments, and roadmap development.
  • Engage with business and technology stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
  • Drive project delivery, provide technical oversight, and ensure solutions meet customer expectations and business goal.
