Are you ready to redefine how the world works? Join our Modern Work communications team where you’ll shape the narrative for Microsoft 365 Copilot across consumer and commercial audiences. We are hiring for a Communications Manager who will craft and execute integrated campaigns that included top tier press, high‑impact influencer and creator activations, podcasts, newsletters, and events. You’ll support product announcements and evergreen campaigns, manage reactive issues, develop messaging, talking points, and FAQs—all in close partnership with marketing and engineering. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders, workstreams and projects on tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years specialized functional (e.g., retail, technology) experience.
  • 2+ years experience supporting senior executives in an executive communications role.
  • 2+ years experience working with social media platforms.
  • Proven ability to translate complex AI or tech concepts into clear, compelling narratives for both consumer and commercial audiences.
  • Strategic, proactive, and creative, eager to try new tactics and skilled at turning ideas into action.

Communications IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated communications plans for Microsoft 365 Copilot (consumer & commercial).
  • Partner with agencies to execute product launches, creator campaigns, land podcast interviews and pitch newsletter editors to tell Copilot’s story in new, engaging ways.
  • Manage reactive issues, media inquiries, and crisis response.
  • Draft compelling narratives, FAQs, and executive briefing books—collaborating closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure consistent, on brand messaging.
